Engagement Overview

East Bridge Consultancy proposes to offer Cleveland Fishing Company consulting services in order to assist in the propagation and enablement of continuous company growth. East Bridge Consultancy will conduct primary research and analysis, as well as thorough secondary research, in order to develop insights and recommendations to complete the objectives outlined below. Professional grade deliverables will be provided to Cleveland Fishing Company at the end of the 2019 Fall semester. 

Engagement Objectives

1.     Market Expansion Strategy

●      East Bridge Consultancy will create an actionable strategy for Cleveland Fishing Company to expand their presence into other cities and fishing communities.

●      East Bridge Consultancy will perform an in-depth analysis of whether maintaining a uniform brand platform is advantageous for Cleveland Fishing Company when planning expansion.

●      East Bridge Consultancy will provide a go-to-market plan and new market prioritization list

2.     Demographic & Advertisements Study

●      East Bridge Consultancy will identify potential untapped demographics to determine an optimal social media engagement and advertising strategy.

●      East Bridge Consultancy will conduct primary research on the effectiveness of current advertisements to assess ways that future advertisements can be improved.

3.     Sales & Engagement Analysis

●      East Bridge Consultancy will analyze sales data provided by Cleveland Fishing Company to identify insights regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the brand’s current sales approach.

●      East Bridge Consultancy will evaluate advertising data provided by Cleveland Fishing Company to gain an understanding of the overall effectiveness and engagement of present advertisements.

Case Study

East Bridge Consultancy worked to conduct in-depth interviews with customers over the semester. Over time, the team noticed that nearly all of those interviewed had mentioned learning from a father or grandfather. The EBC team worked to provide a recommendation regarding the strong family bonds in fishing. They recommended creating a new line of apparel for babies, toddlers, and children for fathers and grandfathers to give to their children. We also suggested ramping up marketing spending and created targeted ads surrounding Father’s Day. Due to this recommendation, Cleveland fishing company has recently unveiled a new line of apparel specifically meant for children, with their lead post pictured below.

Overall, the team was able to analyze and deliver on all three objectives outlined in the Statement Of Work. The information and insights provided by the East Bridge Consultancy team continues to aid Cleveland Fishing Company with their overall brand expansion.
