How are our consultants trained and prepared?
Our consultants are trained and prepared during an 8-week, intensive new-member education process that prepares them to be a consultant on one of our teams. During this time, our consultants learn more about the consulting field, case interviews, technical skills that they will use on projects, and even have Q&As with our senior consultants and alumni. All of the skills that our consultants are taught during this process ensure they are prepared to best assist the project team on their first project.
What are the roles within each project team?
Our project teams tend to be made up of 5-6 consultants who work directly with the client. On these teams, there is a Project Manager, who serves as the team leader and the main point of contact with the client. There are also usually two senior consultants, who have had ample project experience and two junior consultants on the team. There is also a project advisor, an experienced Senior consultant, who does not work directly on the project but assists with any questions the team may have. This diverse set of experiences allows for our junior members to work alongside more experienced consultants, while those senior consultants and the project manager ensure the success of the project.
